"We had two excellent dinners here. We had both in the Dan Buckley bar, as the main restaurant was closed in the week and the atmosphere better there on Friday evening. Both the meals were well cooked and presented. The duck on a bet of red cabbage particularly good. The Homemade desserts were generously sized and very tasty. The lemon tart was one of the best I have tried and the sticky toffee pudding had sultanas and flaked almonds and was delicious, without being too sweet. I had an unusual Portuguese Syrah wine which was very good and reasonably priced. If you are in this area do eat here (stay in the excellent hotel); it is the hub of the town."
