LucyCooks Cookery School has recently signed up with the Gourmet Society to offer members 2-4-1 on the 'Demo and Dine' cookery packages.

Primarily a cookery school in the beautiful Ambleside, LucyCooks is situated on the very edge of the Lake District National Park and is spread over two floors. Mainly accommodating purpose-built kitchens, the place also has a beautiful terrace dining room which opens up onto the Kent River for summer dining.

LucyCooks has launched a weekly package named 'Demo and Dine' which allows diners to watch and learn from culinary experts before feasting on a 4-course evening meal with the rest of the group. Themes range from a 'Taste of Italy' right across the board to 'Curry Fight', where chefs demonstrate how flavours and recipes can come together to create the tastiest of curries.

Demo and Dine will take place every Friday and Saturday evening, running from 6.30pm until 10. Tickets are priced at £40 per person but GS members are entitled to the fabulous offer of 2-4-1 on ticket prices!

The ticket price includes chef demonstrations and discussions as well as the evening 'dinner party' food. Wine and beverages can be purchased throughout the evening.

Members are advised to book at least 24 hours in advance as the evenings have proven to be extremely popular.
