Helen G.: "This modern Indian restaurant boasts an unusual and well thought out menu in a fantastic location in central York. My partner and I have visited three times now, and found the restaurant good enough to recommend for his father's birthday recently. The menu has a separate section for duck and fish dishes and features curries which differ from the usual selection. Drinks are reasonably priced and the décor is modern - it feels like the sort of curry house you may choose for a date or a special weekend meal rather than just a cheap and cheerful 'fill you up' option! The upper room can be chilly in winter, although the 'old York' view from it's small window is beautiful if you have that particular table allocation."
