For one of those evenings when cooking seems like too much of a chore or when a cheeky mid-week treat is the only thing that will do, Chopsticks in Rosyth is just the ticket. This no nonsense restaurant serves fresh and tasty Chinese cuisine in big portions.
The atmosphere at Chopsticks Rosyth is relaxed and informal with families and children made to feel welcome. On the menu is an extensive range of Chinese classics. Appetisers include the delicious crispy aromatic duck served with pancakes, cucumber, spring onion and hoi sin sauce, chicken and sweetcorn soup, and salt and pepper chicken wings. There's also a special platter for two, made up of spring rolls, spare ribs, crispy won tons, sesame prawn toast and crispy seaweed.
Alongside all of the usual chow mein, chop suey, rice, curry, and sweet and sour dishes, diners can choose from some mouth-watering chef's specials. There's the Shanghai Delight, a dish of king prawns and vegetables in a spicy chilli sauce or sesame seed chicken, which is cooked in a light batter and served in a rich plum sauce. Vegetarians will find lots of options on the Chopsticks menu including pak choi in oyster sauce and tofu with vegetables and cashew nuts.
Chopsticks is just a short walk from Rosyth rail station and Rosyth public park. Various buses stop right outside the restaurant and there is a public car park close by for anyone travelling by car. The hustle and bustle of Edinburgh is also just half an hour away.
