Whether it is traditional English pub snacks or traditional Thai food, The Hamilton Arms Nava Thai only serves that of authentic nature. Surrounded by picturesque country lanes, Nava Thai is located in Stedham, West Sussex, and is the only pub in the small village.
Run by a Thai family, the pub is separated into two sections consisting of the bar and the restaurant. Take in the typical English surroundings of the pub at the bar, accompanied with a pint of ale or Thai beer and a titbit. These snacks range from a mixed selection of sandwiches, paninis, salads; including a green or a Thai egg salad with special peanut dressing. For a slightly heartier option, opt for the fried rice dishes infused in soya sauce or the fried Thai noodles with fresh shrimp and crab meat.
Fancy more of a wholesome meal? Then the eastern cuisine of the restaurant will get the taste buds positively tingling. Ranging from an extensive menu of creamy coconut curries, lemon grass soups, roast pork noodles, roast ginger duck and pineapple sea food, Nava Thai is likely to cater for all. This already extensive menu gets even bigger with their vegetarian dishes and optional set menus, making it a perfect place for groups to go for a cheap lunch or night out.
In the winter, food can be enjoyed from the dining room by the cosy fireplace, whilst the outdoor benches at the front of the building, allows patrons to enjoy a sunny meal overlooking the countryside.
All food is prepared to order which enables guests to extend the true Thai experience into their own homes. If that is not enough for guests, then the oriental spices and ingredients used in the continental dishes can be bought from the small shop within the pub.
