The food here more than lives up to the expectations. Phil Yeoman, the Executive Chef, brings with him years of experience chefing in some of the country’s most prestigious hotels such as The Dorchester and Soho House. Additionally, as head chef at nearby Lainston House, Phil was awarded three AA Rosettes and kept them for an astonishing seven years.

It’s clear therefore that at Marwell House the food on offer will be second to none. Described as being traditionally English with a modern twist, the approach looks to embrace local producers and suppliers as well as working with them to encourage the ability to make creative and innovative dishes. The fine dining menu here is carefully crafted and often exceeds customers’ expectation.

Situated in fine woodland, in a secluded and tranquil spot, the restaurant at Marwell Hotel is well worth a visit. With highly trained and expert chefs, as well as a wide menu that utilises a variety of local produce, the informal setting here suits the style of cooking and what the team here have achieved.
