The Welsh town of Bethesda is home to the lovely Shirin’s Restaurant, a lovely little Indian Tandoori house serving well-priced, good quality food. All of the usual Indian restaurant recipes can be found on the menu at Shirin’s Restaurant which includes a brilliant range of Balti dishes and a wide range of curry sauces, vegetable sides and homemade Indian breads. Specials worth noting are the king prawn mughal cooked with ginger, garlic, onions and spices and the chicken jaflong cooked in a medium sauce with peppers, lemon, tomatoes and herbs. For those who like some real spice and heat to their dish, the naga chicken is just the ticket – a red hot bhuna sauce made with the fiery hot naga chilli peppers.
Shirin’s Restaurant is a small and cosy dining room decked out in a modern style. Tall black leather seats surround tables topped with the crispest of white table linens. Service is professional, helpful and friendly and dishes are of a good size.
Situated on the edge of Snowdonia in North West Wales, Bethesda is a peaceful town. Shirin’s is conveniently found close to the main A5 road, making it a great place to stop for a meal whilst on route to explore the beauty of the surrounding area.
