Everest Inn is a winner of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2014, and consistently rated amongst the top 5 of all the restaurants in Dunfermline. The reason? There isn't just one. A team that truly cares about making a good impression, and greets all guests like old friends. Chefs who take pride in their work, and produce every dish with panache and flourish. And the regulars, who spare no superlatives when sharing stories of their dining experience. Everest Inn certainly is a place worth trying out.
Everest Inn boasts a gorgeous interior designed in sky blue with white accents, over a light wood floor and panelled walls. The ambiance is soothing, comfortable and airy, and on sunny days the restaurant is filled with light filtered through the tall windows draped with white mesh curtains.
The recipes used by the Everest Inn's chefs are of Indian, Bangladeshi and Nepalese origin, making the menu exciting and extensive. In the kitchen, freshness is always strictly observed, in everything from spices and herbs to meat and produce. They use a great variety of all to produce authentic results using tried and tested recipes. The menu is helpfully divided into Indian and Nepalese sections, including starters and specialities well worth considering. True showstoppers are listed under chefs’ specialities and are all made from chefs' own recipes and cooked using traditional methods. Lamb sorisa, Calcutta lababdar, gurkhali chicken and deshi style keema curry are all well worth considering for their unique flavours.
With so many good things said about the dining experience at the Everest Inn in Dunfermline, the only thing that remains is to experience it first hand. Booking early is recommended, as the restaurant is always busy and lively.
