The Shunarga Tandoori is an exciting Indian restaurant where a fusion of delicious favours comes
together in an original menu. Along with a good range of old favourites, diners are treated to a
variety of unique dishes incorporating some pretty delicious flavours and recipe ideas. Located in the
market town of Pershore in Worcestershire, The Shunarga Tandoori has quite a loyal legion of
regular customers thanks to its brilliant menu and also due to the excellent service provided by a
passionate team.
Fans of the more traditional Indian curry sauces will not be disappointed at Shunarga, with the usual
delectable dishes such as korma, rogan josh, madras and biriyani all present and correct. There is
however some pretty good dishes to sample aside from these. Fans of peanut butter will adore the
peanut zing where chicken has been topped with peanut butter and coriander and cooked to
perfection. The North Indian dish of Mumbai riya riya is superb, made with a meat of choice, citrus
lime, green chilli and curry whilst the amazing seabass served with lime, tamarind and garam masala
is divine. For an alternative to korma, the ghajini sauce with cream and mango juice is a great choice.
The Shunarga Tandoori dining room is a sleek affair with red leather high back seating and smart
wooden floors. Neutral coloured walls and polished wooden tables complete the look. Staff are
extremely helpful with menu choices and are happy to make recommendations to diners.
A wonderful Indian eatery, Shunarga Tandoori offers a creative menu combining traditional curry
house classics with a selection of more unique regional Indian dishes.
