Formerly a rather dilapidated Edinburgh building, this all changed in 2006 when the current owners of Voodoo Rooms came in, revamped its incredible period décor and made it into the exciting inner city entertainment venue it now is.
As well as incredible cocktails, wines and drinks the food at Voodoo Rooms is top quality. Served until ten o clock, diners can enjoy sitting in the leather seats and plush dining area, where they’ll be served sophisticated and intricate contemporary cuisine. From delicate canapés to delicious European inspired mains and starters; the menu boasts fish, vegetable and meat dishes which use the finest ingredients and fresh local cuisine. Salmon fillets, rib eyes steaks and smoked duck brochette are just some of the well-balanced innovative dishes which Voodoo Rooms serves up from its award-winning kitchens.
A white chocolate crème brûlée with hazelnut crunch is one of their absolutely stunning desserts, which all come at a very reasonable price tag. The lunch menu includes refined and sophisticated salads, burgers, sharing platters as well as amazing house focaccia breads.
The beautiful Victorian building really adds to the unique ambience of a meal here. Meanwhile, Voodoo Rooms’ location is incredibly convenient for anybody wanting a quick lunch or evening meal after a day in this amazing Scottish city.
