Achari takes its name from Achar, the pickle which is traditionally the centrepiece to the Indian family dinner table. It is this sense of family hospitality that Achari hopes to bring to the restaurant, where the emphasis is on an informal, relaxed dining experience. A reasonably-priced menu features a combination of both popular Indian dishes, and Achari's house specialities. The helpful menu includes details of ingredients and the method of cooking, making it easy for you to decide which to choose. Starters offer a tempting selection of platters to set the trend for the feast to follow. Smaller portions of tikka dishes, kebabs and several prawn options are on offer to start, as well as the ever-popular samosas and onion bhajees.
