Winner of the Bournemouth in Bloom 2014 award and a Gold Award at the Hotel & Catering Show, the chefs at Baraca have plenty of experience and accolades when it comes to preparing delectable Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine.
Holding service above all else, the welcoming staff at Baraca aim to immerse diners in an atmosphere so comforting it may as well be their own home. To add a certain special flair to the ambience, traditional music is often played and professional belly dancers entertain guests.
The dazzling menu at Baraca offers a myriad choices for any palate, and the friendly staff will be more than happy to suggest dishes should diners be fairly new to the cuisine.
Start the experience with one of Baraca’s exemplary appetisers, including the juicy Mediterranean king prawns, grilled with a garlic and lemon butter sauce, the delectable Hellim, a chargrilled special Mediterranean cheese, and for a taste of everything, the Meze Baraca.
Offering a just as richly diverse selection for the main course, every sense of taste is sure to find something highly pleasing for the main event. Particularly noteworthy dishes such as the sumptuous grilled sword fish, adorned with a fresh herb sauce, the tender İskender, grilled lamb served in a traditional butter and paprika sauce, and the wondrous vegetarian mousakka, a medley of courgettes, aubergines and carrots topped with béchamel and cheese.
Plenty of desserts, both traditional Middle Eastern treats and home-style British favourites, are also available to round off the meal on a sweet note. And with the Gourmet Society discount, there’s no excuse not to indulge in these as well as everything else at Baraca.
