Perched amidst the beautiful Yorkshire countryside of the Catterick Garrison area, the Hildyard Arms is a real neighbourhood country pub, sitting comfortably in the village of Colburn. Dating back to 1823, the pub has been owned by the Hildyard family for over 300 years and is now in the safe hands of new owners Dave and Fiona. A fully independent freehouse, the Richmond Brewery Company now supply the pub with some pretty impressive local cask ales and a great selection of wines from around the world.
Honest, home cooked Yorkshire food is served in the Hildyard Arms, a public house dedicated to its local area in every sense. Everything is home made using locally sourced produce of the best quality. The delicious lunch menu dishes up a great selection of hot meals, paninis and sandwiches including steak and ale pie with vegetables and potatoes and a brilliant Ploughman’s lunch with local cheese, bread, ham, pate, fruit and chutney. Evening plays host to a more refined menu with starters like baked Camembert with caramelised onion chutney and venison burger with melted smoked cheese, onion chutney and smokey bacon amongst the main course choices.

There is a superb beer garden too, ideal for dining al fresco on warmer days and evenings.
