The leafy London suburb of West Dulwich is home to the fantastic public house The Rosendale, a wonderfully stylish yet down to earth gastro pub and garden. Once a Victorian coaching inn, The Rosendale was taken under the wing of the Three Cheers Pub Company in 2011, and is sister to five other great London venues including The Abbeville in Clapham and The Latchmere in Battersea. With an ethos of doing things simple but with a dash of flair, Tom, Mark and Nick of Three Cheers have transformed The Rosendale into an exciting drinking and dining destination.
The kitchen at The Rosendale works with some of the best small producers in the UK and focusses on seasonal and sustainable food including free range chicken and pork and sustainably sourced fish whilst the beef is aged in-house. The menu offers a wide range of casual dishes including wood fired pizzas, burgers and artisan British charcuterie platters along with a fine choice of a la carte meals. Start with a lovely grilled mackerel fillet with cous cous, crayfish and tomato vinaigrette and follow with confit duck leg, squash terrine, spinach and apricot jus or sea bream with crushed new potatoes, spicy red pepper and onion and chorizo sauce.
The Rosendale oozes style with its clever mix of contemporary and classic design influences. Huge Chesterfield sofas provide a comfy place to sit in the bar with its beautiful wood panelling and calming colour palette whilst the dining area with its patterned banquettes and elegant furnishings is just the ticket. The garden at The Rosendale is a big draw too, and the ample play facilities for children make it a big hit amongst families.
**Please note discount is not available on Sunday’s as a separate menu is served. The discount is available on the a la carte menu - this excluded the pizza menu and the children's menu from the offer.**
