Chicken livers in a mustard cream sauce with toasted bread or homemade deep fried brie with cranberry sauce are stellar starters and are as fresh as can be. Classic fish and chips are a house special, coated in a mouth-watering light beer batter and served with hand cut chips and tartare sauce whilst the slow roasted lamb shank with vegetables, herbs, crushed potatoes and homemade gravy is a lovely heart-warming dish.
